This year the Twin Towns One Book project is participating in The NEA Big Read along with the Fergus Reads group. The primary adult book being read is Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.
There will be a panel of experts leading a discussion on the issues of the book on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 7:30 in the Fireside Lounge at MSCTC in Fergus Falls. You may join in the discussion or just listen. In addition, there will be a drawing for free books and refreshments provided.
Watch for more events in a flier in The Daily News and at your public libraries.

One City One Book
Bringing people together to discuss ideas in books can play an important role in breaking down barriers between people and in creating a sense of community. People from all walks of life, of all ages and education levels, gathered together in libraires and private homes to discuss issues common to all people is what matters about a reading project of this sort. For a few days, everyone in the Twin Towns, local people and college people alike, will all be sharing the same book and ideas. Ultimately we hope to broaden and deepen peoples' appreciation of literature.
